The 2026 Niue Treasure Island - Deadman's Last Plunder 1 oz Silver Coin transforms the Treasure Island bullion design into a vivid pirate-themed collectible through a dramatic secondary colorization. The design depicts a skeletal pirate surrounded by treasure, weapons, skulls, ships, and the chaos of a burning maritime scene, creating a highly detailed interpretation of a pirate's final haul.
The underlying Treasure Island coin was created by T&S Coin in collaboration with APMEX and marked the first appearance of the Treasure Island design on a 1 oz silver bullion coin. Its pirate imagery centers on the discovery of a coveted treasure chest, surrounded by skeletal pirates and the sea.
Each coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The original coin carries a $2 denomination from Niue, while this Deadman's Last Plunder edition has been altered by a secondary company. Because the enhancement was not performed by the original issuer, the enhanced piece is no longer considered legal tender. It comes protected in a capsule with a Certificate of Authenticity.
