The Dead Man's Hand HR 3 oz Copper Medal brings one of the Old West's most famous poker legends to life in .999 fine copper. The high-relief design recreates the infamous "Dead Man's Hand" with black aces and eights spread across a group of playing cards, accompanied by a dramatic bleeding ace of spades.
The Dead Man's Hand is traditionally associated with legendary frontier figure and gambler Wild Bill Hickok, who was shot and killed while playing poker in Deadwood in 1876. Black aces and black eights later became widely identified as the hand he was holding, making the combination an enduring symbol of gambling, the American West, and ill-fated luck.
This 3 oz copper medal features colorized details and is limited to a worldwide mintage of 8,118 pieces. Each medal comes protected in a capsule.
